What's up with the chain?

Are you wearing an eyeglass chain around your neck? It doesn't matter if they are beaded or gold. I just know that the eyeglasses already speak that you are older now. So why add the impression that you are losing your memory too? The chain allows the eyeglasses to be close to you when you are not wearing it and with that, you don't have to force yourself to remember where you left your eyeglasses.  Right? 

But it does point out two things about getting old: ageing eyes and lost of memory. So to not look old, get rid of the chain!
